Peter Fox, MS for Monmouth, has today launched a consultation on the proposed Food (Wales) Bill.
The Food (Wales) Bill is a Members' Legislative Proposal - which is similar to a Private Members' Bill in the UK Parliament. The purpose of the Bill is to establish a more sustainable food system in Wales to strengthen food security, improve Wales’ socioeconomic well-being, and enhance consumer choice. The proposal has already gained cross-party support, and has been welcomed by a number of organisations within the food and agricultural sectors.

The initial consultation will run until 26 November, and responses gathered will be used to help inform future work on the Bill should the proposal be accepted by the Welsh Parliament.
All information collated will be anonymous unless otherwise stated by the respondent. Any information provided will solely be used for the purposes of this Bill. The privacy notice can be found below.
