Commenting on the news that Monmouthshire residents are facing a council tax rise of 7.5%, Peter Fox MS said:
“As a once-leader of Monmouthshire County Council, I am fully aware of the pressures that the council is under as a result of poor funding from the Welsh Labour Government, however these council tax rises are unconscionable.
“Monmouthshire residents are getting a raw deal from this Labour council, seeing services cut and council tax increase.”
