Peter Fox paid a visit to Osbaton Church in Wales Primary School on Tuesday 18th July to present them with the Deforestation Free School Award.
During the assembly, the children delivered a presentation to Peter on the important issue of tropical deforestation and their inspiring journey to become Wales’ first “deforestation free” champion school.
Commenting on the assembly, Peter Fox MS said:
“It was a genuine pleasure to visit Osbsaton Church In Wales school this morning and present them with the Deforestation Free School Award, the first in Wales.
“The school’s desire to only use food from sustainable sources and not produced from land reclaimed from rain forests is truly commendable.
“The enthusiasm and passion from the school and its pupils is an inspiration to us all.”
