Commenting on the recent report into the Grange University Hospital by the Health Inspectorate Wales, Peter Fox MS said:
“This report makes for some incredibly disappointing reading, however I am not surprised.
“Behind every statistic is a person in need of medical help waiting to be seen, and while I am glad that there have been some improvements, it is clear that much more needs to be done.
“While I have nothing but respect for our healthcare staff and know they are doing their best under incredibly challenging circumstances, the fact remains that the Welsh Government and health board must get to grips with the current state of healthcare in our hospital.”
