The Member of the Senedd for Monmouth, Peter Fox, has paid tribute to our Armed Forces on Remembrance Day.
Mr Fox said:
“It is right that we come together to remember the gallantry of our Armed Forces, both serving and past, who fought to defend our liberty, with many making the ultimate sacrifice.
“As we reflect, we must also ensure that there is appropriate support in place for our Armed Forces because many—both present and past—suffer from the effects caused by PTSD. I’ve witnessed this first-hand as a father of a young veteran who fortunately survived a targeted attack by a suicide bomber on the streets surrounding Kabul.
“That is why it’s crucial that we do everything within our power to support our Armed Services.”
He added:
“We will always be grateful for the heroism of our Armed Forces.
“We will remember them.”
